Cobra Radar
Detectors has introduced a new
9x40 series in 2008 which is basically a redesign of the previous year’s model.
These new models have the same features as the previous year’s 9x30 model and they
support the KU band for European drivers, but being top of the line models of
radar detectors produced by the company, they sport a new type of LCD displays.
These LCD displays are available on the Cobra XRS 9330 and Cobra XRS 9950 series and on
the 2008 Cobra XRS 9840 and Cobra XRS 9940 models.
The LCD display is provided to allow easy and quick reading of information
which is important while driving particularly at a higher speed.
Considering these features, it is definitely a good idea to invest in the 2007 models of Cobra Radar Detectors since their difference from the new models is mainly cosmetic.
